I will admit, I am a tad annoyed that I have had the car less than 6 hours and I already have an issue that someone should have caught. However I understand not 100% of the inventory can be 100% correct, and I will have no problem getting them to fix it.
As my title states, the microphone for the hands free is not working, at all. After having the car for an hour I hooked up my phone and wanted to get some speed dial voice tags set up. In doing the process, it kept telling me it failed to make the voice tag. I assumed as I was just winging it that maybe I was doing it incorrectly and would look at it later.
Tonight I was sitting in the garage, setting up HomeLink and what not, and noticed it said I could do a music search by voice. So I pressed the button and made the command. I was greeted with it saying "I'm Sorry?" and then starting over. I tried again, same result. I tried again with my face right up next to the microphone, same result. All voice commands fail to register.
It seems to me either the microphone is broken, not plugged in, or the software is bugged out for the voice recognition. I sent an email to my sales guy and I will have them take a look as soon as I can.
I work all weekend so I am hoping I can get it resolved before I leave town...
