Well, this was not a full plastic reconstruction but more like a minor revision. After modding the car, it was not worth it to me to get new rear fenders, paint them, get new wheels/tires, new ZR1 skirts/CF mudlflaps, ect. So I came up with an idea just to make it look a little wider without breaking the bank completely.
I will say I read a lot of wrong information online about replacing the rear studs and this was MUCH more difficult than anticipated. Me and a buddy ended up having to pull the hubs out completely and it was a PITA!! We learned from all the mistakes of the 1st side and the second side went much quicker. ARP extended race studs, billet hub-centric 0.5 spacers, and custom Z06 splash guards in carbon fiber (were wayyyy too expensive, but worth it).
Some pics.
Before with the non-carbon fiber Z06 splash guards I ended up returning/exchanging from CF ones:

Before I realized that the longer studs were NOT getting in without pulling the hub completely out (drilling a hole in the backing plate to avoid pulling the hub ONLY works to get the stock size studs out, but not longer ones in!!)

Havent taken many good after shots but here are a few. I really wanted to avoid the tires sticking past the fender, and I think this is pretty much as good as Im going to get it.
