My 2015 RDX's rear brakes have been squeaking for a week and I noticed they had yellow rust. My TSXs brakes would be the same yellow color but didn't squeak so I am wondering if both are related and would I need brakes this soon? I got the RDX new in July and it has about 4k miles now (bunch of road trips in the bonnet already and 2+ hrs daily commute). I'm thinking of taking it in this coming Friday as it'll be the most convenient day for me. Anyone had new brakes this early in the game? I'm not hard on the breaks and averaging 21 mpg at 22 mph as majority of my driving is city. I sure miss the 27 mpg I was averaging on the TSX, and why couldn't they have made a bigger gas tank?
I wanted a cargo cover when I was purchasing the vehicle but the sales manager and my salesman both told me it is not worth it as you have to drill holes to instal. I usually always have something in the cargo area and the tint doesn't do a good job of hiding anything. Anyone has one installed? I saw a retractable one online for $152 which doesn't include installation. I am wondering if it's worth getting or are there alternatives? Right now I just throw a cream curtain I no longer use to cover the cargo area and sometimes it looks like I am transporting a body, lol.
