In market for a CL

Hi guys,
I'm a new member and looking for a CL. Should I go with the type S or just CL?
I've heard about the tranmission problem on the auto and kinda moving toward the 6 speed. What should I look for when buying a CL? any inputs are appreciated..:thumbsup::thumbsup:
