okay I have never been a gasket kind of guy I finally mastered the oil pan but this stupid solenoid on the top of my bell housing is killing me.
Its the dual pressure solenoid on top underneath the manifold
I've replaced 2 gaskets and for some reason it is still leaking bad. The first I'm sure I crushed the gasket the second one I researched and downloaded my manual and it states 8.7ftlbs of torque so I tightened this time enough to get it locked down AND I used high temp gasket silicone 👎👎👎 maybe I overtightened again my torque wrench will not register that low
Has anybody else dealt with this? I heard it is VERY common on these garbage trannys
