do you need to remove the stock alarm to add a new one?

ok so i just bought a 2004 acura tl base model and it comes with a stock alarm, i plan on adding the viper 5902 version with the remote start but wasnt sure if the old factory alarm has to come off or a bypass needs to be added with the viper 5902.


if you can keep the stock on, will it interfere with the viper alarm? if i activate the viper alarm will my stock alarm also activate? is it better to remove the stock alarm and add just the viper alarm? if so, how do you remove it?
