Any advice on what do get for cell phones? I currently have an unlocked Iphone 5s and Iphone 5. Im keeping the 5s (until the 6 is out), my son gets the 5 and my wife wants a 5s (32 gig). All 3 of us will need voice, text and data. I need a lot of data but the rest don't. Philly area, Tmobile seems crappy there. ATT and Verizon are strong.

AP2 S2000 vs 1G 350Z 6MT
Had a really clean 60-120mph run with an older VQ35DE 6 speed 350Z on the way home from a maintenance window at work.
Race happened at around 1:40am which meant the freeways were safe & completely empty, perfect :thumbsup:
We both started in 3rd, 3 honks and we were off.
I immediately started pulling as I got near the limiter in 3rd and as soon as I shifted 4th, I was about 2 car lengths ahead. As I got up to around 115mph in 5th, the gap had spread to around 3 car lengths :thumbsup:.
He did have a passenger, but there was no doubt my car was faster in pretty much any gear - I think I would have done more damage had we started in 1st or 2nd.
Guy gave me the thumbsup and we both went on our way.

Squeaky Noise
Soo after installing my coils last year.. my seats are becoming very squeaky in the back and i'm wondering if anything was loose or not because I know i rescrewd everything tight.. what else should I be looking at?

Few problems with the TL! Please help.
Hey guys as the title states my car seems to be falling apart. It is an 04 TL 6spd. Lately I have been noticing that everything is falling apart on it. It does have 130K on the odometer but a new car is not necessary as I barely drive since I work from home.
Here is some info about the car in case anyone is wondering:
Lowered on Tein Basics ( bad move I know) willing to buy new coilovers for it but please recommend a good brand that will not be bouncy and ride quality is almost close to stock but a sportier feel. XLR8 Exhaust and J pipe etc.
Lowered about 2.5-3".
Here are some of the issue I am experiencing:
1. Vibration while accelerating especially at higher speeds. Tires/wheels are road forced balanced. I just installed new tires on a few thousand miles ago. Bridgestone Potenza 970AS Pole Position. Im guessing its the Axles. Where can I buy the Raxle ones so I do not run into any more issues with these since I am lowered about 2.5-3" all around. Do you know how much they run.
2. Clunks whenever I hit a bump. I'm guessing it has something to do with the top hat/mounts/compliance bushing/ control arms etc. I am willing to change all of it as long as the car will run much better. I have had the coilovers on the car for about 25K so thats when i purchased new top hats directly from Acura.
3. Rotors seem to get warped extremely quickly. I am currently on my 4th set of brakes since 2009. About 5-6K ago I installed slotted Stop Tech Rotors with some PosiQuiet pads & Goodridge SS brake lines, and they are completely warped. Im guessing it is my Brembo Calipers that are jacket up. I found OEM rebuilt ones from Centric online for a $190 a piece plus $150 core charge. does that seem reasonable or does anyone know of a better place to get them from? I think the website was autobrakecenter.com.
Any info is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if I am missing anything i can do to improve any of the issues stated above.

TL: 02 tl bose speakers.
Alright guys I finally want to go at fixing this problem:
3/4 speakers aren't producing sound- Front driver and both rear speakers
Speakers are NOT blown
Speakers themselves are NOT the actual problem
Front passenger is the only side that can produce sound. I swapped the other speakers in and they work there but the non operating sides would still produce no sound when swapped.
Any way of trouble shooting or fixing this?

PAX wheels pictures
I was swapping some sensors out of a member's PAX wheels and tires into some ASpec wheels today and thought I would share a couple pictures I took. One of my other stores has a PAX machine and had already dismounted the tire before he brought them to me. This is the first time I've actually seen a bare PAX wheel so I decided to take a picture. The system is actually a great idea but there are just way too many downfalls for it to have been successful, cost being the biggest factor. Had the technology developed further and more automobile and tire manufacturers hopped on board, the costs would have been reduced and the options and availability would have been much better. Unfortunately, conventional run flat tires are typically already costlier than the average consumer is willing to spend and the PAX system is only slightly more beneficial and significantly more expensive than those.

Can i still drive car with code P0705?
Hi, i have an acura 2006 and my engine light popped up. I panic and i took it to infinity dealership (acura dealership is far) and they gave me that code and said i would have to take it to acura. I have an appointment scheduled for monday in the morning. It drove fine when i took it to the infinity dealership. Will my car breakdown or not start if i drive it for the next 2 days? i dont want to pay for towing services. What the prices for labor & parts? Thank you for your time!!

Rv6 or xlr8 j pipe? And more questions
So my bro bough an 08 tl type s.
Eventually he will be wanting to mod the car and I know the exhaust on these cars is very restrictive.
I understand there is the rv6 j pipe and the xlr8 j pipe. Both eliminate the third car... Is this ok? Will it cause a cel or will he not pass emissions?
If he stays with the stock pre cats and removes the third one at the end is that ok? Cause my car only has one cat which is a high flow and it passes emissions.

Just purchased 05 TSX... Power steering pump leaking fluid from shaft
As the title says, I just got a great deal on a stock 2005 TSX that I plan to drive for a while sinceI'm moving to Boston and need something simple. Everything on the car is in great condition and I got a great deal, but upon further inspection of the service papers and the car I now don't believe the dealer ever fixed the power steering pump leak that they reported on the most recent service write-up, The previous owner I bought it from said he brought it in in June )last month) for routine maintenance and all current issues were resolved but I am still seeing fluid around the pump and the fluid level is low. I Plan on going to the dealer on monday and want to know what I should expect to have to pay if the shaft of the pump is still leaking. I just cant imagine how the dealership would have just let that go unfixed when they completed oil changes, replaced a rear hub and did a transmission flush in the same visit...

Power steering pump
Mine has a leak from the shaft that is causing considerable spillage on the serpentine belt. Does it simply need a new o-ring or gasket or should I replace it. And if I do does it really matter of its OEM or not?

"Pour the recommended engine oil into the engine.

ChopstickMod v1.0
So, Ive finally solved the issue of stealthily storing a pair of chopsticks for emergency use. Now youll never have to worry about looking like a d-bag while eating with a fork in an Asian restaurant. I present the ChopstickMod.
First, youll need to apply the brake pedal. This is the method I used:

Next, locate a pair of your favorite chopsticks:

Next, pry the cover off the third brake light and place chopsticks as shown:

Then, youll want to steady your hand as you reapply the cover so that the chopsticks remain between the cover and headliner:

Hey Guys,
Got my very first Acura last week.2010 RDX SH-Awd.
So far I love everything about it!
So my wife filled up gas in the morning. It says on the cap to tighten till it clicks so she did just that. As soon as she heard a click she stopped tightening. We drove around the whole day and towards the end of the day the Check Emission System light came on. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Do these cars have a history of faulty had caps?

FS: Brand new set of acura oem chrome wheels still in the boxes.
I bought these for my wife's car and she has decided to trade it in. They are brand new Acura accessory wheels and are in the box. They have never been mounted and as you can see from the photos they do not have any scratches, scrapes or anything. They are 18" with a bolt pattern of 5x114. Unlock confirmation
I don't know what year it was, but it was a nearly 2000's RL that I heard in a parking lot that beeped twice when the owner unlocked it with the key fob. Can anyone confirm that the RL does this and if it's possible for the TL to be able to do the same thing? Thanks.
